Summary
Wrangling over bills about teacher evaluations, renewable energy, prisons and air credits dominated the most recent California legislative session, but there's one bill on Gov. Schwarzenegger's desk that shouldn't be up for any debate. Sponsored by Sen. Jenny Oropeza (D-Redondo Beach), it requires that mammogram providers who are cited for violations by state inspectors post those violations in an area that is visible to patients and staff.
The violations that fall under the bill's parameters are called "level one deviations," which are deemed capable of seriously compromising the quality of services and can pertain to technicians or equipment.
